including desktop software, primarily written using .NET, WPF, and the rest of the Microsoft stack. At Starkey Laboratories, I was heavily involved in Inspire OS (Inspire) , a large and full featured desktop application that enabled Audiologists to program our digital hearing aids, and fit them to the patient.
I also develop
mobile applications, and
mobile applications
using an array of technologies,
for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. I've developed for iOS using native Objective-C,
MonoTouch,
MonoTouch,
and PhoneGap.
I've lightly toyed around with various
web technologies
web technologies, such as everyday HTML5/CSS/Javascript to coffeescript, and frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC3 to Ruby on Rails
.
I enjoy coding in
several languages
C#, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, and Javascript.
I view C# as the most complete, mature, full featured, and enjoyable language ever made, and is my favorite.
Python has always been my go-to dynamic language, though I'm trying to help Ruby catch up, and sometimes casually attend the Ruby Users of Minnesota group.
and have a few light projects that strive for my short attention span.
A (small) collection of hobby apps I've worked on are:
- Simple-Geofence - A small demo app used as a proof of concept, leveraging iOS's CoreLocation framework.
- StubScan - A web scraper that scans StubHub's API and stores game data on Amazon S3. A collection of Python scripts using mrjob queue Map/Reduce jobs on Amazon Elastic MapReduce.
- GameDayTweets - (School Project) Simple MLB oriented Twitter client that makes it simple to follow tweets based on an in-progress matchup of two teams.
I live in
